My disc Drive just started acting massively wierd. The computer will NOT boot if a cd is in the drive and when you put one contained by after, it will not be recognized. It eventually lead to the computer to freeze until the disc is ejected. What could my problem be? Thanks!

Reboot the PC and go into the BIOS
Make sure the Boot instruct is set to Harddrive first.
Reboot the machine and later go into the Device Manager and turn stale Auto Load on the drive.
If the device has the expertise, turn on the Digital CD Audio for the device.
Try a series of different CDs. If the cd is a CDRW formulate sure the session is closed.
Get a can of air and blow out the compact disc unit
didi you check if the disk is not scratched?that could be one of the problems try another disk
Sounds close to new compact disc Drive time!
