Can the out-of-date softwares run on AMD 64 bit processors? are they compatible??

applications close to softimage xsi and 3ds max 9 are compatible with 64bit processors.. will the other ripened versions resembling 3ds max7 and other games perform capably on a 64 bit processor..



am planing to get AMD 64 bit duel core processor within another two days.. your suggestios will be very adjectives for me..



and also give me some impression about graphics card and which RAM( SD or DDR) i should buy..

Well how compatible it will be is probably more something like the OS then the processor. If you run a 32 bit operation system similar to Windows XP then the processor will only just run in 32 bit mode and it will be impeccably compatible. If you run a 64 bit OS then nearby might be some incompatibilities because of drivers and such.
I'm not sure these old soft wares can run on amd processors.

while u must choose DDR 2. i 'm wondor who will use SD RAM immediately. as DDR 2 is very popular contained by these days.
