Chipset Fan connector on motherboard?

I a moment ago got a fresh motherboard and it won't turn on. The fan spins for a second, but that's adjectives. I accidentally plugged the CPU fan surrounded by the wrong spot. Instead of the CPU Fan connector, which happened to be unnoticed, I plugged the CPU fan into the Chipset Fan spot...anything that is. The computer still won't power on, even after plugging the CPU disciple in the right spot very soon. Any ideas? What is the chipset fan?

Chipset Fan connector on motherboard?

Did you put the motherboard within right with the included mounting posts? I've see many folks not put the brass colored mounting posts on behind the motherboard, solitary to have it short out againt the frame.
Some chipsets also use cooling fan, apparently they included a connector in shield you wanted to make a payment one.

Try resetting the BIOS chip, look in the mobo booklet for directions.

If that doesn't work, check and make sure the RAM is fully seated and that the CPU cooling disciple is fully locked in place.
Check the pins to craft sure the LED and the power and restart button are correct.
