Now I go to the Intel website, they don't even list an e6850 processor, nor would investigate produce any information on that processor. Do you mean the X6800 which is the Core 2 Duo Extreme Dual Core 2.93, or the QX6800 which is the Core 2 Duo Quad Core Extreme 2.66? Both of these processors are supported by the specifications sheet for the motherboard, though you might hold to apply a bios update.



I strongly recommend and use Asus motherboards where possible, they own an awesome technical support division should any problem arise, and they final their motherboards for 3 years parts and labor.
