ok i know my stuff just about computers but i havent really had the time to research the dx10 entity. but i ahve a dell laptop and im running vista with dx10 but i dont want to wipe it out and i want to put my games on here but within dx9 games. so what im asking is, is there somthing to download to be i can flex to dx9 games and the laptop is dx10 the rest of the time?
Can i use dx9 next to a computer that have dx10 within it?

Yes- if your computer have DX10, it also supports DX9, DX8 etc. titles...
