you obligation to know whether your motherboad has SATA connector or IDE or ATA. i enjoy seen the connector cable and it is not the same. this also go for the speed of your processor, can it match the speed of the harddisk? (SATA harddisk run unbelievably fast) if not you can't use the harddisk. find it out these defining factors earlier install it.
