Can i use a sata DVD Rewriter on this motherboard?

i hold a Asus M2N4-SLI AM2 Motherboard.



i don't know if the motherboard has PATA or SATA cable!



can you please visit the following trellis site and tell if i can use this DVD Rewriter?

will it know how to read CD-ROM's, burn data and burn dvd's?

your motherboard have SATA 300 so yh easily work on it, and dont listen to him tellin ya to put it on pata, thats jus silly, its slower!! the full point of sata is the faster data bandwidth... and also you own plenty of sata ports

if the mobo supports it then sure.. but if here is an E-IDE cable with an exsisting drive.. why not use that on that manacle, it supports 2.



keep the SATA port free for an superfluous drive in the adjectives.
Yu would be able to use a SATA DVD-RW on that motherboard, but the cooperation you give shows a PATA/IDE interfaced DVD-RW.
