Can you verbs a CPU from one computer to another?

Say the CPU to be precise up for transfer is a Intel Celeron D 300 thats be running for 5 years with some overuseage to a another computer that have none (don't ask) without seperating the CPU from the heatsink

Can you verbs a CPU from one computer to another?

Yes you can, but you would enjoy to first remove the CPU heatsink, set it aside. open the CPU latch on the motherboard, purloin the CPU out, clean out the thermal soft mass, put the CPU in the bright motherboard, apply new thermal mash, then put the heatsink stern ontop of the CPU. During the process the heatsink will have to be removed from the CPU, but you will expiration up putting it back next to the CPU once again after you are done.
Yes, if the motherboard of the receiving computer is compatible next to the new CPU.
Yes contained by theory, but the bright motherboard may not be compatible with the CPU.
No you cannot verbs CPUs if u dont wish to remove the heatsink.

Also if ur trying to move it from an older computer to a new computer.. most plausible they are not compatible.
only if the CPU will fit the slot of the other mother board, that the merely way you can verbs one.
You can do it, however Celeron Ds have not be around for 5 years. Though if this was a hypothetical, it wouldn't really situation.

And yeah, the mobo has to be compatable, but I assume you know that.
