It's not a silly question - close to some answers ---

Depending on where you live, some computer stores will give a trade in. But not likley. Best bet is to try and provide it on ebay. PC's over 5 years old are worth NOTHING.

You could try upgrading, Keep the display, upright, mouse and case. and purchase a unknown mother board, memory and CPU.
not sure about trading but you could trade it to a pawn shop
some small computer stores around your home town may allow trade in's for discounts rotten of newer models. A lesser revenue endeavour would be a pawn shop but they will bestow you little to nothing for it.
no u silly goose..its not a 99 honda union..its a computer !
no i doubt it
Most likely, no. Computers depreciate contained by value deeply rapidly. A brand unmarked computer you might have only gotten from Dell for $1500 you can't sell the subsequent day for more than $900. There is closely of overhead involved in computers.
Just appointment any major charitable enterprise like Goodwill or Salvation Army, most will not appropriate PCs anymore but they will have a roll of local organizations that will. Make sure you completely remove your personal facts of course until that time you donate.
Comp USA used to, not sure if they do any longer. They pulled out of Texas so you might want to try their website.
