Can i use a Xp reformate disk to install XP?

ok, so i bought a dell. gorgeous computer and it has vista, although i havnt have ANY!! of the problems that other complained about beside it. Infact vista has be really good to me. But in recent times for laughs. My dad owns a dell as well. but his is XP. could i use his xp reformate disk to install Xp on my laptop?

Why? You just said your not have any problems. If you try to downgrade you are going to need program and drive updates for almost everything(a lot of time wasted).If it aint broke don't fix it!
