CDROM problems?

I own two cdrom drives on my computer, sometimes one of them wont show up in my computer... not sure why... but... it's really annoying when i'm trying to burn something... Like right very soon... Anyone have any suggestions or comments why I might not know how to see one of my drives? I've already tried rebooting 3 times... Sigh...

At first thought, you may want to check your bios settings to make sure the computer is if truth be told recognizing the drive. If it is, i would check jersey and cable settings on the drive itself. Those are usually the main problems when a drive isn't one recognized.
