Not really. If it did, every travelling slaesman with a laptop would be losing notes left and right. There is (theoretically) some wreck that the x-ray can impart at the atomic level, but the passageway a disk is written there is almost no occasion of losing recorded background (a good analogy would be poking a pinhole contained by a newspaper...the dissertation is damaged, but not unreadable). If it give you piece of mind, put some of the critical files on a jump drive and place it surrounded by your pocket (not enough metal to set bad the alarms).
Hard drives are a magnetic record medium. X-rays enjoy no magnetic properties to them.
