Cd-rom drive isnt working?

It say the device cannot start error code 10? The only problem is that the bios recognize it but it doesnt show up in my computer. In the device administrator theres a symbol next to it which is adage theres a problem but i cant figure out whats wrong.

In Device Manager try right-clicking on the device and uninstalling it. Retart Windows and your system will detect foreign hardware and install the drivers for it again. That may solve a driver problem, but the drive could be bad and cause the problem. If the sysmbol is an exclamation point, the issue is usually a driver.
