Built first workstation. booted up first time. next what?

Usually the defaulting BIOS setting are just fine. Set the time & date and away you travel!
you install vista then your motherboard drivers etc...
nouns os then you set eveything up as you want adjectives the drivers should be there near vista. and your bios should be set unless you want to start overclocking and stuff like that
to be reasonably honest, when i built mine, all i done wa set time and date and the boot up nouns, ie: hd, cd, floppy(optional) in your cas boot from cd, window vista will format your drive and make it geared up for vista, when you have finished installing vista and adjectives drivers, reboot system and using your motherboard disc install drivers , reboot and go into your bios reset your your boot nouns to hd ist, cd 2nd floppy 3rd, i hope i have help you, pleas do not alter any other settings in the bios unless you know what they are, i made that mistake onced and believe me, i studious
If you install Vista you will find that it doesn't recognise any of your hardware whatsoever so you would be better off installing window xp. you don't need to do much surrounded by the bios time n date boot devices do not load non-attendance settings these are what the manufacturer set it as. Do not play going on for too much in the bios if you don't know what your doing you could total the board.
