Building Pc?

The best place to start is with the CPU as you own already done. The next step would be to find which socket the CPU is, within your case it's socket LGA 775. So very soon you look for a motherboard with an LGA 775 socket.

After that, find out what type of memory that motherboard supports, it will probably be DDR2 but double check of late in bag.

Then you need to draw from a video card. It will also depend on your motherboard, whether it has an AGP slot or a PCI Express slot. With LGA 775 boards you usually get PCIe slots.

With the PC casing you can get nearly anyone that go by the ATX standard which would be nearly all of the environment towers.

Lastly you'll also want a PSU (power supply unit). I woulnd't recommend that you use a PSU if it came beside your tower because those typically are cheap and don't last long and could ruin the rest of the components within your system. You're probably looking for a PSU with around 400W+. Choose one from the big name such as Thermaltake, PC Cooling, Enermax etc.
I have written a couple of How to's for the DIY on my network site.

Have a look, I setup a lit of componets that I used to build the wife's new desktop, cost give or take a few $600.

There is also a article about building a soaring end gaming system.
