Building a computer?

I want to build my own computer. Basically, I want it to be capable of support the game Flight Simulator X. First of adjectives, does the case I buy manufacture a differance in reading, and what motherboard would you suggest for this game?

Building a computer?

Case does ultimately influence performance, but it can do so indirectly. Cases next to good cooling systems can maintain your hardware cooler, extending its life and allowing over clocking. If you don't mind a huge crust, I would recommend the Uber Chakra. Here is a video review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrcgljmeg...

As for the motherboard, I really do not know the game, but the nForce 680i is a pretty worthy board for gaming in broad. Not too expensive, but still pretty good.
i agree witht he first answerer, IF you are within Canada. i'll recommend you this cpu+motherboard bundle for the game. its the intel Q6600 (quad core, 2.4ghz) near an XFX nforce 680i motherboard(original price is $182) for just $550. and here is the interconnect

NOTE that the indevidual price of the cpu ($580) is higer than the bundle's

the intel quad core series is fast ample for any pcgame that is on the planet immediately and will be out in the subsequent 2-3 years. you cant go wrong beside them

and make sure you couple the processor beside a really good video card, similar to the ones in the nvidia 8 series or the radeon r600 becuase the video card plays a bigger role contained by games than the processor itself
